Your Own Belly Fat “Free Cure”

How To Lose Extra Calories With Very Little Effort

A common frustration for many people is the ability to lose weight. What it really all comes down to, however, is numbers: You will lose more weight if you eat fewer calories.

It sounds too simple, but if you learn the tricks to cutting calories while NOT starving yourself, and you can do them on a regular basis, the pounds will continue to drop off of you with very little effort on your part. It will be your own personal belly fat free cure!

So what are these personal belly fat free cure “tricks”?

1. Lose Calories By Making Healthy Substitutions

Many people think that lowering calories means giving up your favorite foods. Thankfully, you don’t have to do this – all you need to do is learn to make healthier substitutions.

For example, if you crave something rich and chocolately, you might normally turn to a calorie-dense pink of chocolate ice-cream. Instead, look for a sugar-free fudge pop or reduced fat chocolate pudding to get that same delicious flavor in a low calorie treat. Just by making this switch, you save hundreds of calories!

Other quick and easy calorie cutting techniques for your belly fat free cure are:

- Trade whole milk products for low-fat or skim
- Trade fatty cuts of meat for lean cuts
- Skip the chips in favor of air popped corner or rice cakes
- Eat a whole fruit instead of drinking sugary fruit juice
- Replace butter in your pantry with trans-fat-free margarine

(There are many delicious foods available that you can add to your own belly fat free cure. See Foods That Reduce Belly Fat for some ideas of what to add to your grocery cart.)

2. Lose Calories by Eating More

Believe it or not, eating less does not always help when you are trying to lower your calorie intake. Studies have repeatedly shown that you can control your appetite better by eating smaller and more frequent meals.

There are two reasons why eating more helps you lower calories and is part of your belly fat free cure. First when you feel full, you tend not to give into cravings as easily, and cheat less often. One of the main reasons why people go off their diets is that they are too often hungry, and eating regularly helps prevent this.

Secondly, eating small meals helps keep your metabolism in high gear. Calories are lost as your body burns through them faster. And faster calorie burning means more weight loss for you!

3. Lose Calories with Daily Activities

Committing to doing long workouts on a regular basis is a difficult thing to do. Most of us simply don’t have the time. Thankfully, there are ways you can lose more calories while you do daily activities such as running errands or doing housework.

Many people are surprised to learn that you can lose up to 700 calories an hour simply by doing gardening and lawn work. This depends on what you do and how much you weigh, of course, but regardless, lawn work is a great way to lose calories.

Another great belly fat cure activity is to get actively involved in playing with your children (or your pets). An hour of sliding, swinging, or frisbee catching will get rid of 300 calories or more!

Of course there are also the simple ways to lose more calories while running errands, such as taking the stairs, or parking further away from the entrance. Add up these small but deliberate changes and you will be pleased with the additional calorie loss!

4. Lose Calories with Yoga

Yoga is a fantastic exercise that fits in the “belly fat free cure” category. It is very effective, even for beginners.

Yoga is beneficial to you as it builds strength and flexibility, prevents heart and metabolic diseases, reduces stress, and encourages your body to release excess calories in the form of fat.

Making yoga part of your daily routine is a quick way to see results (both physical and emotional). Start with 15-20 minutes each day. Don’t let the advanced poses scare you off; just find a good yoga sequence for beginners and get started! (See Belly Fat Yoga for more in-depth information about the benefits of yoga as a belly fat free cure component).

Now that we’ve looked at these different methods of losing calories without seriously depriving yourself, why not commit to putting these ideas into practice?  Being with one or two small changes a week, and very soon you will notice that losing calories has become a piece of (low-fat) cake!

Green Tea: Belly Fat Burner

If you are searching for natural ways to boost your fat-burning metabolism, you are not alone. The desire for natural herbal supplements and the researching of specific belly fat burner foods have both risen in popularity in recent years, as we grow more and more aware of what chemicals and processed foods do to our bodies.

One particular herb has been touted as a dieter’s miracle “natural” product for some time now, and that product is green tea. Belly fat burner extraordinaire, green tea (and green tea extracts) are said to cause nearly twice as much weight loss in those who consume at least 390mg of green tea daily in comparison with those who do not drink it (this according to the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition). The 390mg of green tea “belly fat burner” drinks would translate to approximately 4-6 cups each day.

The way it works is that green tea contains powerful antioxidants (catechins) which researchers claim speeds up the body’s metabolism. An increased metabolism means the body is able to burn through excess fat stores more quickly. These antioxidants also help reduce the number of potentially cancerous free radicals in the body, and act as a diuretic. A diuretic encourages the body’s release of excess fluids – and those excess fluids are pounds you don’t need to keep.

Green tea also contains plant substances that help your body burn an additional 60 calories per day, according to Swiss researchers. That’s 60 calories gone, from doing nothing more than drinking a few cups of green tea.

Many dieters (and non-dieters who are concerned about their overall physical well-being) opt to drink green tea instead of coffee.  Green tea contains a modest amount of caffeine, enough to perk up your heart rate, but not enough to put stress on your body. This small amount of caffeine also acts as an appetite suppressant, so in more ways than internally green tea belly fat burner claims ring true.

Finally, if you substitute calorie-free green tea for sodas and creamy coffee beverages, you can save a lot of calories and still get your caffeine fix.

Green tea as a belly fat burner natural food/drink is an all-around good choice. Why not add some green tea another other foods that reduce belly fat to your diet today!

Belly Fat Yoga

Discover Yoga With "Brilliant Yoga" by clicking here

Yoga is quickly and steadily becoming a prominent part of workout routines everywhere. People swear by it, saying it helps cure all sorts of things, from stiff joints to problems with breathing. But how about belly fat? Yoga would be good for that too? Will yoga help you burn belly fat?

If you have never tried yoga, the idea of meditating and sitting on a mat does not seem like it would be all that helpful for someone who wants to build strength and lose weight.

However, yoga as it is today is quite different than what it used to be. Need to lose some belly fat? Yoga will get you burning calories, really sweating, and also helpinng you learn to get your body and mind in synch.

What follows are ways various yoga methods can help you achieve weight loss and increase your sense of wellbeing.

Vinyasa yoga burns calories.

This form of yoga is also known as “flow yoga” or “ashtanga yoga”, and is physically active. Vinyasa yoga increases your heart rate and puts your body into the “fat-burning mode”. (Vinyasa yoga is therefore a good belly fat yoga.)

Vinyasa also incorporates a series of poses, during which the practitioner holds the pose for several breaths, after which the practitioner immediately flows into the next pose. Many people combine vinyasa yoga with other cardio exercises, such as walking, for a balanced weight loss routine. (See Best Belly Fat Workouts)

Yoga puts you in touch with your body.

One of the benefits of doing yoga is that it helps you to clear your mind of the distractions that are stopping you from really listening to your body. Through getting back in touch with what your body needs, you soon learn to tell the difference between cravings and true hunger. Most yoga enthusiasts find that the more they get in tune with their bodies, the more they desire to take care of it by avoiding radical diets and junk food.

Yoga reduces stress.

If you deal with a lot of stress on a regular basis, and find that the stress effects the levels of your belly fat, yoga is definitely something you should consider.  By practicing quiet meditation and mindful breathing, you will find your body and mind become much more peaceful. As a result of this, anxiety and also cortisol (the stress hormone you body produces), are both decreased.

Decreasing the production of cortisol is a great way to lose weight. Cortisol sends our bodies into a type of “preservation mode”, of which increased fat storage is a result.

The lessons learned in yoga, namely how to relax and breathe, will help you in other areas of your life as well.

Power yoga improves strength and flexibility.

Power yoga is a great belly fat yoga. It is similar to vinyasa yoga in that it combines the poses with strength training, stretching, and intense burts of cardio. This combination helps to strengthen your heart and create more lean muscle mass. And since muscles burn more calories than fat, power yoga can affect your weight loss even when you are at rest! And who does not want to burn more calories while not exercising?

Hot yoga provides quick, temporary weight loss.

If you have ever tried hot yoga, you will know how effective it is for quick weight loss. Hot yoga is like vinyasa yoga, but you perform it in a hot surrounding such as a sauna. The quick weight loss, as you can guess, is due to shedding water weight through your sweat.

It is not the best idea to do hot yoga long term, but it does give you a good workout and can make you look more svelt for that special occasion. Just know that once you get properly rehydrated, you will likely regain those few pounds.

Yoga makes you mindful.

One of the most important things yoga does is teach you how to be mindful, or “in the moment”. Learning how to close off the pressures of work, family, finances, and other stressors and simply focus on breathing and posture is a great thing to be able to do, especially if you want to decrease your belly fat. Yoga and the mindfulness you learn from it help you focus on your food and enjoyment rather than eating distractedly and therefore eating too much or the wrong foods.

Yoga can benefit your weight loss plans in several ways, as you can see. There are a growing number of yoga classes near you, but if not, pick up a yoga DVD from your public library. Experiment with the various forms, and find the one that best suits you.

Belly Fat Burner Foods

There are many foods in the supermarket that you know you should avoid. But there are also belly fat burner foods you should add to your grocery cart often if you want to speed up your metabolism. That’s right… there are foods that trick your body into burning through its extra fat. Here are some of the best and the tastiest ones you can find.

Citrus
Remember when you were young and your mother gave you Vitamin C whenever you felt a cold coming on? Vitamin C is an effective immunity booster, but it also does something pretty incredible… it helps burn fat faster.

Vitamin C acts as a belly fat burner food in two ways. First, the process of fat metabolism is sped up by it. And, it also seems to have an effect on the storage of fat. Citric acid causes the fat molecules to break down, and in this broken down state they are less likely to accumulate and stay in your body.

In order to consumer Vitamin C naturally, you can add citrus fruits to your diet. Oranges, tangerines, grapefruit, lemons and limes are all excellent choices. And remember that although the juice is a healthy choice, the whole fruit contains fiber – another fat-fighter.  If you don’t care for fruit, add tomatoes to your diet. Fresh tomatoes in your homemade sauces will add an excellent metabolic boost.

Ginger
Another belly fat burner food you can add to your diet is ginger. Besides being a fat burner, it also helps open blood vessels and improves circulation, both of which result in a boost to your metabolism. Studies show that ginger-eaters may lose up to 20% more fat that people who do not consume it.

Check out a great food-based weight loss program that you can do from home called The Diet Solution by Clicking Here.

By the way, the flavors of ginger and citrus complement each other well, so experiment with these two flavors and enjoy the weight loss process!

Whole Grains and Oatmeal
Starting your day off right often includes a warm bowl of oatmeal. One of the reasons it feels so good is because oatmeal is high in fiber. Fiber stabilizes blood sugar levels a prevents fatigue. Oatmeal is thick and statisfying, and with non-fat milk (calcium), is a great belly fat burner food.

The carbs that you consume when you eat oatmeal also give you a quick burst of energy, which help you wake up faster. But because the carbs are complex ones, they digest slowly, keeping your energy up and your hunger down hours past breakfast. And as an added bonus, oatmeal also lowers choloesterol!

Beans and Nuts
If you want your appetite to be kept in check for long stretches, select beans and nuts – both are excellent belly fat burner foods that contain fiber that kick-starts your metalism. Nuts and beans also provide you with protein, with is vital for building lean muscle mass. And lean muscle mass burns calories faster than does fat tissue.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Cooking with olive oil has long been recommended by doctors for its heart health benefits. The unsaturated fat in olive oil increased the number of high-density lipids in the bloodstream. These lipids (the “good chloresterol”) help sweep bad chloresterol from your arteries. Switching over your cooking habits from butter and margarine to olive oil will help you lower your bad cholesterol AND increase your metabolism.

By consuming belly fat burner foods like these you will achieve your weight loss goals faster. Add some enjoyable cardio exercises and drink plenty of water, and you’ll have a recipe for success!

How To Best Cure Belly Fat

Since the very beginning of dieting itself, people who want to cure belly fat issues have been debating food vs exercise. Do either of them succeed at giving you a trim stomach? Does starving yourself or exercising like crazy really help to shrink your stomach and get rid of belly fat?

For many years, diet “gurus” advised doing sit-ups and crunches endlessly to target and cure belly fat. It has been proven, however, that this “spot reduction” method just does not work. It is only through reducing your overall body fat that you can get rid of belly fat. That being said, there are things you can do to make your stomach look trimmer and flatter. And those “things” always include the right combination of foods and motion.

Foods To Help Cure Belly Fat

Many dieters are of the impression that as long as they watch their overall calorie count, they should be successful in their diet. Some foods, however, tend to linger longer on the hips, while others actually help get rid of belly fat!

You are probably aware that caffeine and nicotine are not good for you, but did you know that they cause your metabolism to decrease? Both caffeine and nicotine acta as stimulants, increasing your heart rate and blood pressure. As these vital signs go up, your body senses danger, reacts by shifting into a “preservation mode”. In this state, it stores extra calories as, you guessed it, belly fat.

Why belly fat? It has to do with cortisol, a stress hormone produced by our bodies. Cortisol what causes extra fat storage (especially around your middle), and this type of fat is dangerous. It is linked to heart disease, cancer, and diabetes. So if you are serious about wanting ot cure belly fat, you know what you have to do.

Foods that cause insulim production also lead to excessive eating and the accumulation of belly fat. Our bodies need insulin, and produce it to utilize glucose. Sweet flavours cause our bodies to release insulin when it is really not needed – when our blood sugars are low or normal. Foods with artificial sweeteners therefore can trigger a release of insulin, which in turn can make you feel hungry and eat when your really don’t need food.

So what kinds of foods should you be eating? Look for foods to help cure belly fat that do not trigger insulin creation, and do not cause your body to go into preservation mode. Foods that are nutritious and slowly-digestible will be good choices. Whole grain pastas and breads, lean meat and tofu, fibrous fruits and vegetables, whole nuts, avocados, and olive oil, just to name a few.

Giving up coffee can be a difficult thing for some. If you need the pick-me-up of caffeine, try switching to green tea. This tea is caffinated enough for a perk, and includes phytonutrients – and these phytonutrients have a host of other health benefits, including a faster metabolism.

If you cannot bring yourself to give up caffeine, switch to green tea instead of coffee. The tea contains enough caffeine to perk you up, plus phytonutrients that both speed up your metabolism, and provide a host of other health benefits besides helping to cure belly fat!

Exercises to Help Cure Belly Fat

While having the right diet is important, it is only half of the weight loss equation. You can not cure belly fat without exercise, unfortunately.  Cardio and strength training do not target only your abdominal muscles, but what they do accomplish is the reduction of your overall body fat. And once your extra fat is gone, then you can focus more on isolating your abdominal muscles to cure belly fat for that striking six-pack.

Many people are scared of the word cardio, but it does not have to be a high impact activity like running. You can go for a brisk walk, swim, take up martial arts, work on your lawn, bike, or do something else. Just committ to participating in it for at least 3 – 5 hours each week. You will notice the pounds start to drop off, including those around your middle, and your heart health will improve.

Fat burning is also helped along by strength training. By increasing your lean muscle mass, you are enabling your body to burn more calories and store less fat. Develop a strength training routine that you can complete three times a week, and work on it for a half an hour each time. You can do more of course, but this is adequate for when you are getting started. Make sure you vary your workouts to focus on different muscle groups. For example, one day work out your upper body, and the next day your lower body.

Be sure to rest your body between sessions and stay well hydrated. Become friends with water… your body burns fat faster if it has enough fluids! And don’t give up if you slip up in your diet or exercising. Just get right back into it! You CAN cure belly fat!
