How To Lose Belly Fat With Exercise

You think you are fighting against belly fat, but what you really need to look at is body fat on the whole. What is body fat? Body fat is basically the accumulation of extra energy.  You consume energy in the form of food (calories), and if you don’t burn off all of the energy that you consume, it is stored as fat.

Muscle tissue is an incredible fat-burner. The higher the percentage of muscle mass you have, the more calories your body burns, even at rest.  This being said, it makes a lot of sense to add strength training to your weekly workout, and learn as much as you can about how to lose belly fat with exercise.

One thing that it would be good to do before you begin is to determine your body fat percentage. Your physician or fitness trainer has tools that can do this painlessly and easily. (There are also guides online that can help you measure yourself.) The basic aim of these tests is to tell you how much of your body weight is fat, muscle, fluid, and bone.

If you are a woman, your healthy body fat percentage would be in the range of 14% (for a young, athletic woman) to 35% (for women over 65). Men can be healthy with body fat percentages between 6% and 25% (males have more natural muscle mass than females).

Having a normal body weight does not necessarily mean that you have a low body fat percentage. People who have low weight but high body fat count actually face the same health risks as “obese” individuals.

What is most important about how to lose belly fat with exercise is that you stick to it, even when it “hurts”. Most often the pain is because those muscles are not used to being worked – and that pain is “good pain” because you are breaking down weak muscles and overnight they re-knit themselves into stronger ones. Three Incredible Foods That Reduce Belly Fat

Are foods that reduce belly fat a myth or a reality? Believe it or not, scientific research has shown that people who ate certain types of foods did end up burning more fat than those who did not eat those foods.

So what are these miracle foods that reduce belly fat and help you lose weight over all? Let’s take a look at three of the best.

Foods That Reduce Belly Fat #1: Skim Milk

Calcium is probably of one the most populuar proven boosters of metabolism. You can get calcium from various sources other than skim milk (such as broccoli), but products made with fat-free, 1% or 2% milk deliver the highest amount of calcium with the lowest amount of calories.

Many studies have been done to show that calcium does cause weight loss. In one particular test, two test groups were compared to one another. All factors were kept the same, except that one group received several servings of calcium every day while the other did not. The group that received the calcium boost lost three times the weight compared to the second group!

Foods That Reduce Belly Fat #2: Beans

Dieters have been turning to beans for years as a preferred protein source. Why? Because they provide a healthy mix of both protein and carbohydrates. It takes longer for your body to process them, which means both that you feel fuller longer, and that your blood sugar level stays more stable.

The real “magic”, however, is the fiber content that beans contain. Your digestive system looks at fiber as a workout, you might say. If you eat enough fiber, it keeps things running smoothly, as well as making sure your blood glucose does not spike too high. (When you blood sugars spike, your body produces insulin, which, in basic terms, prevents fat from being dealt with). Choose plain beans, if you can. Fatty refried or sugary baked beans are not a dieters friend.

Foods That Reduce Belly Fat #3: Green Tea

It has long been accepted that green tea is fantastic for dieters who are looking for foods that reduce belly fat. Green tea contains powerful antioxidants that work in your body lessen the amount of potentially cancerous free radicals in your body.  It also contains enough caffeine to be an adequate coffee replacement, but that amount is low enough that it puts little to no stress your body. Belly fat burner green tea also helps you get rid of retained bodily fluids, as it also acts as a mild diuretic.

Green tea has also been studied as a fat burner. Not surprisingly, the results have been encouraging. People who drink 4 – 6 cups of green tea each day were found to lose weight faster than those who don’t drink green tea.(See Green Tea: Belly Fat Burner for more info.)

Honorable Mention: Water

Okay, water is contains no nutritional value, but it still is worthy of ranking highly on a list of foods that reduce belly fat. Some of the reasons why dieters are always told to drink a lot of water are that it dilutes the sodium in our bodies to counteract bloating, it pushes retained fluid out via urination, it promotes healing, and it satisfies our appetites. (Did you ever wonder why you get served ice cold water at a buffet before you begin eating?) Water also, however, helps your metabolism to keep running at its highest efficiency.

The reason for this is that our kidneys work as the primary filtration system in our bodies, passing toxins and waste fluids out of our bodies. These important organs need to be well hydrated to keep functioning properly though.  If they do not get enough water, the kidneys call on the liver for back-up.

While the liver is able to act as a secondary filtration system, it was not designed for that particular role. What the liver does best is turning stored fat into usable energy. But when it has to help the kidneys, it is not able to metabolize the fat as quickly as it used to. So be sure to keep your metabolism (the rate at which your body turns fat into energy) at its maximum efficiency by consuming a lot water every day!

If you are interested in adding fat burning foods to your diet, start adding these to your regular menus. Drink plenty of water, and you will be well on your way towards successful and permanent weight loss!

How To Lose Belly Fat Pregnancy Weight

Ladies, it is time to look a belly fat pregnancy weight.  There’s a good chance, if you are reading this, that you are filled both with the joy that comes from bringing a new life into the world and with the despair of not being able to shed the excess belly fat pregnancy pounds. And possibly you are annoyed at seeing pictures of celebrity moms who seem to all have that flat belly again within days of giving birth.

What those pictures hide, however, is the fact that these moms make use of nutritionists, personal trainers, nannies, private chefs (and even photo-shop if all else fails), to get back to their pre-baby figure. Since you don’t have those options, what can you do to lose belly fat pregnancy pounds?

Thankfully all is not lost. There are definitely steps you can take to improve your post-baby figure.

Call for Back-up

One of the hardest parts of being a new mom is dealing with the lack of private time. If you want to lose belly fat pregnancy weight, you will need to schedule in some “me-time” for exercising, grocery shopping, and preparing healthy and nutritious meals.

Very likely there are people in your life who have offered their assistance to you. Take them up on it! Your spouse, your family, and your friends will be more than happy to assist you with getting yourself back to normal.  Ask your partner to pick up the groceries on your list, and your mom or best friend to watch your baby while you exercise for an hour or so.  If no one is available, most gyms offer babysitting services – use the resources available to you!

Nourish Your Body

Eating healthy meals at this time in your life is incredibly important. Junk food and processed or fast-food may sound incredibly tempting, especially when you are feeling exhausted, but remember that you will speed up your recovery much faster by eating small, balanced meals. Concentrate on adding lean protein, green vegetables, dairy products, high fiber fruits, and whole grains to your diet as much as you can.

If you are breastfeeding your baby, take into consideration that your body will require more than the normal amount of calories to keep your baby and you healthy.  And remember also to drink plenty of water. New moms should be drinking 64 to 128 ounces a day, especially while nursing.

Get Moving

Even though sometimes it  is hard just to get out of bed, try to incorporate movement into your new routine as much as possible. Cardio exercise is very important, and it will do wonders in helping you lose belly fat pregnancy effects.

Some ideas to incorporate cardio exercise into your routine could be to do some gardening while the baby sleeps, or go for a walk with the baby in the stroller. It does not have to be a gym-type workout for it to be effective.  Just try to fit in around 30 minutes of cardio 5 times a week.

If you do this, you will be happily surprised to notice that your energy level rises while the scale goes down!

Another great fitness idea to help you lose belly fat pregnancy weight is to add a little bit of yoga to your day.  Try doing your breathing and meditative exercises before bed for more restful sleep, and doing stretches and poses after you wake up for a burst of energy.

Stay Energized

Interrupted nights are to be expected when you have a newborn, but it is very important for your overall health to get an adequate amount of sleep. Whether you do this by enlisting the help of others or by catching naps throughout the day while the baby sleeps, making sure you do so will keep your energy levels up high.

Sleep helps us function, physically and mentally. Just a small sleep deficit (one to two hours a night) can cause problems such as lack of focus, compromised immune system, and delayed healing ability. Unfortunately, most people don’t get enough sleep – and this is especially true for new moms!

It is only by taking care of yourself that you can take care of your loved ones.  By combining nourishment, the right exercises, and plenty of rest, you will be on track to lose belly fat pregnancy weight fast.

Is this the right system for you? Let’s check out the Fat Burning Furnace Ebook Review:

Fat Burning Furnace Ebook Review – The Pros:

Pro #1. It is a detailed weight loss program that actually makes sense.

Poulos takes an in-depth logical approach to losing weight. The Fat Burning Furnace System gives exercises for people in all different fitness levels. If you haven’t worked out in a long time, you are able to start with the break-in exercise routine and work your way up to the more complex workouts as you improve and get in better shape.

The system has strong scientific roots. Your resting metabolic rate (RMR) increases with the gaining of more muscle and loss of fat because muscle tissue burns away more calories than fat tissue does. So, by gaining muscle, your body is turned into a metabolic furnance… a fat burning furnace.

Pro #2. Effective yet short workouts.

Not everyone enjoys or has the time for long workouts. Fat Burning Furnace recommends and designs its workouts in an attractive format. Do simple strength training exercises for 20 minute sessions, 3 or 4 times a week.

Each session requires you do complete only one set of each exercise, but muscles are given an extra-effective workout due to the very slow pace at which the exercises are done. Each session includes workouts for every muscle group, so you truly get a full body workout every day.

You will notice that the Fat Burning Furnance Ebook System is missing the long and boring cardio sessions. Poulos will prove to you that his short strength training routines are actually a better cardio workout than an hour spent running on a treadmill.

Pro #3. Upgrades are available

The Fat Burning Furnace Ebook System is available in 3 levels: Deluxe, Ultimate, and Blowtorch. While the “Ultimate” seems to be the best deal, the Blowtorch features two hours of video where you can watch Poulos going through the exercise routines. If you are a beginner, however, you should definitely work your way up through the basic, intermediate, and advanced workouts before trying out the Blowtorch routines.

Fat Burning Furnace Ebook Review – The Cons

Con #1 : Nutrition is not really emphasized enough.

Be aware the Fat Burning Furnace Ebook System is primarily an exercise program. Poulos does not spend much time telling you what and what not to eat, although he does do a very good job explaining the principles of nutrition. Compared to the exceptionally in depth exercise guides, the nutrition plan gives the reader a lot of choice – which can be good or bad depending on your eating habits. Be prepared to be given nutritional suggestions and several sample meals, along with links to recipes you are able to create for yourself.

Con #2: You may get tired of the sales pitches.

This Fat Burning Furnace Ebook Review would not be complete without a brief caveat: Poulos spends the first 24 pages of the book trying to sell you on his logic and ideas. That’s not the worst thing in the world, but you will also find a lot of attempts to pus the “ProGrade” food products. If you can see past this, the program is great.

Fat Burning Furnace Ebook Review – Overall Review

Poulos does a good job of going into detail about how exercise and nutrition have an effect on your body. He doesn’t care for fad diets, and he lays several nutritional myths to rest with his rational explanations. This program is excellent for people who have damaged their metabolism through years of yo-yo dieting, no matter their current fitness level.

How To Best Cure Belly Fat

Since the very beginning of dieting itself, people who want to cure belly fat issues have been debating food vs exercise. Do either of them succeed at giving you a trim stomach? Does starving yourself or exercising like crazy really help to shrink your stomach and get rid of belly fat?

For many years, diet “gurus” advised doing sit-ups and crunches endlessly to target and cure belly fat. It has been proven, however, that this “spot reduction” method just does not work. It is only through reducing your overall body fat that you can get rid of belly fat. That being said, there are things you can do to make your stomach look trimmer and flatter. And those “things” always include the right combination of foods and motion.

Foods To Help Cure Belly Fat

Many dieters are of the impression that as long as they watch their overall calorie count, they should be successful in their diet. Some foods, however, tend to linger longer on the hips, while others actually help get rid of belly fat!

You are probably aware that caffeine and nicotine are not good for you, but did you know that they cause your metabolism to decrease? Both caffeine and nicotine acta as stimulants, increasing your heart rate and blood pressure. As these vital signs go up, your body senses danger, reacts by shifting into a “preservation mode”. In this state, it stores extra calories as, you guessed it, belly fat.

Why belly fat? It has to do with cortisol, a stress hormone produced by our bodies. Cortisol what causes extra fat storage (especially around your middle), and this type of fat is dangerous. It is linked to heart disease, cancer, and diabetes. So if you are serious about wanting ot cure belly fat, you know what you have to do.

Foods that cause insulim production also lead to excessive eating and the accumulation of belly fat. Our bodies need insulin, and produce it to utilize glucose. Sweet flavours cause our bodies to release insulin when it is really not needed – when our blood sugars are low or normal. Foods with artificial sweeteners therefore can trigger a release of insulin, which in turn can make you feel hungry and eat when your really don’t need food.

So what kinds of foods should you be eating? Look for foods to help cure belly fat that do not trigger insulin creation, and do not cause your body to go into preservation mode. Foods that are nutritious and slowly-digestible will be good choices. Whole grain pastas and breads, lean meat and tofu, fibrous fruits and vegetables, whole nuts, avocados, and olive oil, just to name a few.

Giving up coffee can be a difficult thing for some. If you need the pick-me-up of caffeine, try switching to green tea. This tea is caffinated enough for a perk, and includes phytonutrients – and these phytonutrients have a host of other health benefits, including a faster metabolism.

If you cannot bring yourself to give up caffeine, switch to green tea instead of coffee. The tea contains enough caffeine to perk you up, plus phytonutrients that both speed up your metabolism, and provide a host of other health benefits besides helping to cure belly fat!

Exercises to Help Cure Belly Fat

While having the right diet is important, it is only half of the weight loss equation. You can not cure belly fat without exercise, unfortunately.  Cardio and strength training do not target only your abdominal muscles, but what they do accomplish is the reduction of your overall body fat. And once your extra fat is gone, then you can focus more on isolating your abdominal muscles to cure belly fat for that striking six-pack.

Many people are scared of the word cardio, but it does not have to be a high impact activity like running. You can go for a brisk walk, swim, take up martial arts, work on your lawn, bike, or do something else. Just committ to participating in it for at least 3 – 5 hours each week. You will notice the pounds start to drop off, including those around your middle, and your heart health will improve.

Fat burning is also helped along by strength training. By increasing your lean muscle mass, you are enabling your body to burn more calories and store less fat. Develop a strength training routine that you can complete three times a week, and work on it for a half an hour each time. You can do more of course, but this is adequate for when you are getting started. Make sure you vary your workouts to focus on different muscle groups. For example, one day work out your upper body, and the next day your lower body.

Be sure to rest your body between sessions and stay well hydrated. Become friends with water… your body burns fat faster if it has enough fluids! And don’t give up if you slip up in your diet or exercising. Just get right back into it! You CAN cure belly fat!
